The River City 10-Miler is a historical event which was a very popular running race in the early nineties in Austin, Texas and was last run in 1995. The race is known for its lightening fast course, beautiful route, and personal records. The route starts in north Austin and travels down the beautiful neighborhood of Shoal Creek, then down the fun hills of Lamar Blvd and finishes at the scenic Auditorium Shores at Town Lake. The race will will benefit the Austin-based Center for Child Protection, an accredited child advocacy center that serves abused children in Travis County.
