The MAZE is our 1st TRAIL event!
2000m downhill, straightaway, swimming race in Town Lake through the heart of downtown Austin from Red Bud Isle to the Texas Rowing Center, benefiting Deep Eddy Pool (Texas' oldest swimming pool: an Austin treasure.) No fins, snorkels, or any other artificial aids permitted.
A Great Cycling Experience:
Ride through broad valleys, sweeping vistas, and gently rolling hills.
The Armadillo Hill Country Classic is a fully supported ride with rest/refreshment stops every 10 to 15 miles. Experienced SAG support. Course closes at 4:30 pm. On-Site Registration Opens at 6:30 am. Start 8:00 am.
The Rookie is a short early season event that is perfect for a beginner to test the waters or an intermediate to advanced triathlete to get warmed up for the season to come. The Texas Ski Ranch is a great location that is safe, and participant and spectator friendly. Come join us for an outstanding event and then relax on the beach with burgers and music.
Austin Triathletes present three USAT Sanctioned open water swimming events:
- 1 mile competitve event
- 5k competitive event
- 800 meter non-competitive swim - The 800 meter swim is designed for beginner open water swimmers and triathletes and is held in a protected cove closed to boat traffic.
Open water swim practice for women only. The swim is in the Quarry behind Pure Austin. This is a great way to do an openwater swim with a large group of people in a relaxed environment and is fully supported.
How can you support animal adoption and welfare in Central Texas? Participate in Blue Dog Rescue's second annual 5K, Run for the Rovers! Presented by Premier Animal Hospital, all proceeds from the event benefit Blue Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization working to place adoptable, homeless dogs with forever families.
The Capital of Texas Triathlon takes place in Downtown Austin Texas. The Event has 3 distances to choose from and 2 relay options. Choose from the First Tri (400m, 10K, 5K), the Sprint Tri (750m, 20K, 5K), or the Olympic Tri (1.5K, 40K, 10K). Trisome relays are available in the Sprint and Olympic distances.
