A fun and fast 10K through north Austin, starting and finishing at the IBM campus off Burnet Road. Choose either the chip-timed 10K, or the non-timed fun-run (5.3K). This is the first event in the Austin Distance Challenge. The post-race festivities promise to be terrific: | ||

As the Austin Challenge enters its 12th year, we need more Texans than ever to unite to pick a fight with cancer. On October 25-26, you'll have your chance as thousands of fired up Texans descend on the Austin area to take the LIVESTRONG Challenge 5K Run/Walk with a start/finish at the Capitol steps, and 10, 40, 60 and 90-mile rides in Dripping Springs. | ||

5K annual race to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We usually have a large group of Tri Zoners at this event -- come show support for those in your life who have been affected by cancer. Remember, Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend, so don't forget to set your clocks back the night before the race! | ||
