Aquarena Springs tri
Just got a newsletter from the (former) race director of the Aquarena Springs tri. Check the web site... Last time I looked, it said there were some issues with the venue and the race was iffy. Here is what the (former) race director sent:

Seidel Productions will not be directing Aquarena this year. With Emily directing last year, while I was out of town, we feel like we have lost one of our children. Especially because we met at this race, it will always have a special place with us.
The Texas State Triathlon Club will be responsible for the race this year, so we will see how this transition plays out. We have told the club that we are here to help if they need, but we have yet to see how much they will use that offer. We are still waiting for the club to send info, sign up and web site so we can post on our site, so stay tuned to www.seidelproductions.com as we get updates.
I guess the best thing that will come out of this is that I might actually get to race, even though it will probably not be done the way we DO IT FOR THE RACE!
