So you missed the Marble Falls Tri in July? Here's your second chance to "Tri for Pie"!
Now with current link to 2007 online registration! Don't delay!!

COURSE - The course is located at scenic Inks Lake State Park just west of Burnet (about 9 miles down Hwy. 29). The swim is an out and back, open water in Inks Lake. Water temperature is still around 80 degrees this time of year. Bike ride is out and back on Park Rd. 4, a paved State road. This is an open road race and all laws and safety precautions must be strictly enforced. The bike has a few slight grades and curves, nothing major. The 5K is through the campsites in the park, again, no major hills to contend with.

I know that some other training groups will have a pretty strong showing, and some are camping. Reservations for campsites fill up quickly, I'm told.

After the race we can drive into Marble Falls to Bluebonnet Cafe for PIE- as long as we get there before 1:00, because they close at 1:45!

Tri-ing for Pie!!

When I went to Marble Falls last weekend the BBC billboard on 281 coming into town said, "Try some Pie"..

I had a devious thought about how someone might obtain a tall ladder and a can of spray paint to correct that spelling error to "Tri" ..

oh yeah, of course I'm signed up.
