Intermediate Spring Triathlon Training Session
Our Intermediate training group is for those who have completed at least 4 or 5 triathlons and you're ready to take it to the next level this spring. We also welcome beginner men who are training for triathlons, including the Texas Tri Series. We welcome ALL speeds. The biggest difference between Beginner and Intermediate will be the more advanced information that is given at the workouts, and the challenge level of the workouts and training schedule.
This program will help you prepare for late spring triathlons including The Rookie, and CapTexTri. It will also help build a solid foundation for the remainder of the Texas Tri Series.
Our Intermediate Spring Session is a 10-week training program that will add to your current state of fitness and fine-tune your skills. We will build endurance in all three sports so you can prepare for other spring events, including and various 5Ks, 10Ks, and supported cycling events. We will focus on speed and strength, to help you maximize your performance.
We meet on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 8:30pm and Saturday mornings from 9:15 - 11:15am, from April 1 through June 10.
Our twice-weekly group workouts will include pool swims, open water swims, cycling, running, and transitions. You'll receive guidance and valuable tips from our USAT-certified coaches. We'll also provide a workout calendar giving you workouts for the other days of the week. We will offer three tracks: Sprint, Olympic, and Half Ironman.
