We meet for some workouts at the Balcones pool and park. Located in north Austin, conveniently off Mopac (near the Domain), this little neighborhood pool is heated year-round and has lap lanes. The park is nice for runs and walks.  Minimum entry fee for the pool and limited hours.

Directions:  From Mopac, take the Duval exit and head west on Duval (away from The Domain). At the next light, turn right onto Amherst.  Balcones District Park is on the right.

From 183, take the Duval exit and head east (towards The Domain).  At the light at Amherst, turn left.  Balcones District Park is on the right.
