The Texas Triathlon takes place at Canyon Park on Canyon Lake, Texas. This intermediate distance triathlon (1.5K S, 42K B, 9.5K R) will be challenging, scenic and fun.

I've had my eye on this one
but I don't think there is a Sprint option, though they are offering a DU3 which is any combination of the 3 sports (swim/run, swim/bike, or bike/run).
It is also the State Championship race, which is kinda exciting! and Nick Seidel is cool...he is the race director and the same one who did Aquarena for a couple years
I'm seriously contemplating going for it since I had such a FUN! race yesterday, plus its the perfect opportunity to practice my new found wetsuit-enhanced swimming skills!!
