How long should it take your body...
...to adjust to a new running style?
Starting POSE (and probably running a little too fast during the track workout) exacerbated and old (5+ years ago) plantar faciitis injury - not badly but it hurt straight out of bed the next couple days. My body also did hurt in a few different places than usual. Is it a good idea to start slowly with a new running technique? What is a good amount of time for adjustment?

in my non-expert opinion
It could be your shoes. If you are using a new techniqu, which gives you a diffferent gait, but are using the same shoes, that could exacerbate the problem.
My logic comes from reading the Pose website about shoes. It makes sense that we have been buying running shoes based on our own gait (over or under pronation, weak ankles, etc). However, when you switch to pose running, the best shoes have almost no support, because you are changing your gait to be correct. the corrective shoes are no longer needed and could actually cause pain.
In my personal experience, when we did those drills at training one night, in my normal NB 1061s, my shin splints acted up. I have since purchased a $25 on clearance at DSW pair of light, thin-soled Saucony's and have been running to the gym in the morning, attempting to practice what I know of Pose technique. No pain. No tweaks. Perfectly comfortable.
Could be something to think about!

Get the PF looked at
Coach Valerie would be the best one to answer your question about how long the adjustment will take, but regarding the possible flare-up of plantar fasciitis, you should have someone look at that right away. Last year I had symptoms that were similar to PF, but Dr. Sellers at Performance Wellness looked at it for me and just said there was an accumulation of scar tissue. He worked it all out in one session and I was good as new. If he hadn't worked on it, I think it would have developed into full-blown PF. Performance Wellness offers a free injury clinic at lunchtime on Tuesdays -- give them a ring on Monday just to make sure of what the hours will be on Tuesday.
