River Cities Triathlon
When: 08/02/2009 - 08:00 Its our 29th Anniversary and we have lots of great surprises in store for the oldest, largest, most recognized triathlon in the South. This will be another fantastic year. Lots of great surprises, of course the best race packet and volunteers anywhere. Possibly the BEST swag you'll ever receive at a triathlon of this distance. The course is fast with a flat 1/2 mile swim, 18 miles of rolling hills on the bike, a 3.1 mile run under a ton of gigantic trees in the park, and a fabulous post-race meal. A small group of Trizoners usually make the trek out to Shreveport for this race for the weekend and have a ton of fun. Trizoners usually volunteer for the Kids' Tri the day before, too. Its great karma!
