I was wondering what is the "rule" on replacing road bike tires. Do you replace them when there is no tread on the tires or after riding a certin number of miles? Should I treat my road tires like I do my personal vehicle tires....after a number of miles buy new tires? Thanks
Great question!

Glad you asked this GiGi! Good to know!Â

You should get between 1200
You should get between 1200 and 1500 miles from a set of tires. If you are starting to get a lot of flats or if the tread is pretty worn then you might want to change them out. You also want to inspect the tires to make sure that you do not have any cuts, holes or chunks of rubber missing. If you do, then you would want to replace the tire.
