I do Couples the weekend before...after all these years, I've never done it! I was thinking since I didn't get to do Danskin this year, it wouldn't be the same without taking a spin on that course.Â

Sadly, I won't be making it 5 years in a row as a participant, arthroscopy on July 10 will force me to only spectate! In red, white & blue, of course!

1k swim
can anyone tell me what a 1k swim equates to? approx how many meters? Â
1000 meters
but it's all downhill :)it's kind of a modified triangle course, but that long straightaway on the backside is pretty easy cause you're with the current. Â

If there is a downhill swim...
then this is it.  It must be the current on the long stretch back, or maybe because the lake was like glass last year. This was my best swim of any Tri I've done.

I'm in - I figured it would be a really good gauge to see how "ready" I am (or how far I have to go) for the Austin Tri on Labor Day.
Does anyone want to carpool to Marble Falls the morning of the race? Or, are you all staying there the night before?
