This morning's newspaper carried an article by Brom Hoban describing a new Boston Marathon qualifier in our own backyard -- Brushy Creek. October 24 is too soon for most of us, but if Frank Livaudais puts it on again next year, watch out! The race is being capped at 150 registrants. Read the article:

I'll be there
It's always fun to be in on the ground floor of a new event, and I like the idea of a loop race. We'll see what juice I left in the legs after last weekend. He's combining trail and road...and even giving a "last tail on the trail" type of award.
Should be a good time!Â
