We meet at Emma Long Park for some of our open water swims. 

This is a beautiful park alongside Lake Austin.  Water temps are usually cool, and there is a designated swimming area.

Directions:
From the intersection of Loop 360 and FM 2222, go west on 2222. Turn left onto City Park Road (the first light west of Loop 360).  Follow City Park Road to the end.

We usually park outside the park entrance in a small parking area at Turkey Creek, on the right about 1/2 mile before the entrance to Emma Long Park (address is 1600 City Park Rd.).  Arrive 15 minutes early, and we'll carpool in.  Bring $1 - $2 to give to your driver.  The per-vehicle price is $5 on weekdays and $8 on weekends.
