It was a beautiful morning for a race. The hills were killer, but thankfully only for a few miles. Congratulations to those who completed a very challenging mid-season half marathon:

Special THANKS to the Tri Zoners who were there to cheer us on!! I saw Sarah, Lee, Katy and Scott, Annette, Tara, and Shayla!! (and I hope I didn't leave anyone out...) Woohoo!! Your cowbells sounded terrific! Every time we heard a cowbell, we looked to see if the person ringing it was a Tri Zoner. In some cases, we were too far away to recognize faces, but I could see what color the cowbell was, and whenever it was RED, I knew it was one of us!! Wahoo!! MORE COWBELL!! Annette's Burma-Shave-style signs were classic -- I'm hoping we get to see those at some other races!!
