The Danskin Women's Triathlon series is a very beginner-friendly all-women's race. Women of all shapes, sizes, and ages will participate. Over half of the race participants are first-timers. The race is supportive, fun, and inspiring!

Registration is filling up

As of 5/23, nearly 2800 had signed up. My guess is they will close registration by this time next week.

VOLUNTEERING

I will be volunteering on Friday for set-up from 11-3 and on Sunday in TRANSITION (WOOT!) starting at 5:30 am. Don't think I can have a cowbell, but Ill sure hollar for all of you!

Transition Area

Well, as of 2pm today, transition was well on its way to being ready for y'all! I learned how to read the rack layout, put together about 100 racks, and assembled all the labels for the assigned racking,.... oh, and picking shards of glass out of the gravel in SWIM IN, all while getting got a nice farmer's sunburn, a cool RED shirt and a good lunch..

the volunteer shirts for Sunday are bright green, Ive been told..so beware!

Ill see y'all maybe tomorrow if you are an early racker.. or on SUnday in Transition. Have Fun!

Great to see you there Sarah! It was such a treat to have a familiar face to meet us there going in and out. It made me feel like it was "our" event. ;-)  Thanks to you and all the volunteers that gave your time on Sunday. It would be no good without you!!!
