The Shoal Creek Trail is a beautiful trail that runs next to Shoal Creek. Parts of it are paved, and parts are packed gravel. The trail runs from just north of 38th Street (where Shoal Creek Blvd. dead-ends into 38th) all the way down to Lady Bird Trail.

Officially dedicated in April of 2006, Lake Pflugerville is new place to swim, bike, and run. The 180-acre lake is ringed by a 3.1 mile crushed granite hike/bike trail. The country roads in the area provide many miles of cycling routes.
