WOW! At last count, Tri Zones has 11 teams entered for Couples Tri, next Sunday, July 13th!! Yeeeeeha! If you haven't signed up, feel free to join us, with or without a partner for the race. You can enter as a team or as an individual and compete. Surely some of you want revenge on the Danskin course, huh??!? :-)

Race Description:

The Couples Triathlon is a multisport event in which you and a partner, whether it be a friend, spouse or family member, combine your ages and sign up in the appropriate category. Each person on the team does the entire triathlon, then their times are combined for the overall results.

Last year, Gina and I had decided to do the Couples Triathlon together. We talked about wearing something that matched, and Gina remembered that we both happen to own a two-piece swimsuit in a matching Hawaiian print. We decided to wear the Hawaiian top with our black tri shorts.
