Website Tips and Feedback
We have avatars!
By Coach Tracy - January 30, 2008 - 3:55pmAlright gang -- so we can all get to know each other better, I have changed some settings (hope I didn't break anything, Scott!) so that you can upload a photo of yourself, and your photo will be displayed whenever you post a comment. I can't figure out how to get it to display the photo along with an original forum post, but this will be a start.
Time zone for forum postings
By Coach Tracy - January 14, 2007 - 6:49pmI think the forums are being timestamped an hour later than they really occur... Is this a time zone setting, or a daylight savings time setting?
"Reply" to forum comments
By Coach Tracy - January 4, 2007 - 12:51amI have noticed that when people try to "reply" to a forum comment, it places the reply under the most recent comment, and not the intended comment. It would be great to fix it so that we can reply to other people's posts, or if we just want linear/chronological comments then we should remove the "reply" option that shows up on each and every comment (or leave it there, but then make sure the reply does not get indented under the most recent comment)...
Link to Coach Tracy's email gives an error
By akobus - December 8, 2006 - 12:36amI am legitimately logged onto the site. When I clicked on the link to Coach Tracy's email from the Jingle Bell recent post, I got an error:
"access denied. you are not authorized to view this page."
I took a screen shot but am too tired to do the whole img src thing. This seems to be a common theme, though. I know I'm not the only person who was authenticated as a valid user, clicked on a link and got this error.
Testing
By Coach Tracy - December 1, 2006 - 9:23amWhen I was in the Food forum, I posted a thread but when I clicked on "Submit," was sent to a screen that said I was not authorized for that action and I was logged out. But when I logged back in, my post was there.

Number of views?
By shayla - November 9, 2006 - 1:48pmWhen looking at certain section of the forums, lets use Training Talk as the example, it shows for each post: Topic, Replies, Created, and Last Created. Is it possible to have an option to show the number of times a certain post has been viewed? Even though a certain post, like an informative post, shows 0 replies, it would be nice to see if people are actually viewing the post to begin with. Its helpful to know if something you've actually posted is actually being viewed even though no one is commenting, this way I know what I'm posting is actually interesting to other people, and if not, then I can not spend time posting that kind of information.
Race event author is a mystery!
By LittlePam - November 6, 2006 - 6:06pmI added the Dallas Turkey Trot as a race, but when you look at that entry, you can't tell that I was the author. I can see it in the recent posts view, but it would be helpful to see it while viewing the entry itself. Know what I mean?
won't log me off
By gennypell - October 27, 2006 - 9:46pmWhen I am leaving the site I select log off, it comes up with the guest screen but when I go back into log in later I am already loged in...it does not log me out when I select it...any ideas of why? Will that hurt anything if I am not logged off?
Can anyone upload pictures to the gallery?
By shayla - October 23, 2006 - 8:41pmI have pictures from the TxTagBikeTour. How can I upload them to the photo gallery?
Keep up with new posts
By trizones - October 20, 2006 - 9:34amNow when you log into the site, you can see all the lastest content with the "recent posts" link in the upper right navigation tool block. This page give you an overview of the new content on the site no matter where what category it was posted in. This is a great way to stay update with new races, resources, and forum posts.
